Many people have contributed to the social contact data sharing initiative over the years, through data, ideas, collaboration, and support. We are grateful to everyone who has helped shape the initiative. Below is an incomplete list of current and past collaborators.
Funding & support
This initiative was launched with funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No. 682540 — TransMID, PI: Niel Hens) and is coordinated by members of the SIMID group (www.simid.be) at Hasselt University and the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
The initiative has since benefited from institutional, scientific and financial support from several partners and contributors. In particular we gratefully acknowledge contributions from ERC Starting Grant No. 283955 (Project DECIDE, PI: Alessia Melegaro), Dondena Centre, Bocconi University and Sebastian Funk at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK.
